This week we also offer the following suggestions for your prayers :-

International
 Pray for an end to the escalating military coup in Myanmar where so many people are losing
their lives and for the very touching news of the 9 year old blind boy who is teaching his
class mates, what he has just learnt, in the rubble of their school.
 The terrible famine in Yemen.
 That the vaccines will reach the poorer countries as soon as possible.

National
 For the children returning to school after so long, for their safety and health. And also for
the teachers.
 That people will stick to the rules the Government has given so that the pandemic will not
spread again.
 For the huge task of getting the country’s economy right.

Local
 For Marie as she is licensed as Vicar of St. Micahel’s Huyton on Sunday 7th March
 That the Duke of Edinburgh makes a smooth recovery from his recent heart
procedure and will be discharged from hospital soon.
 Pray for the Bishop Eton community where several priests have suffered Covid 19 and one
priest has very sadly died.
 Pray for Asylum Link and the very difficult task they have to care for the asylum seekers in
their care.
