Confirmation
At our Baptism our parents and Godparents make promises of faith on our behalf.  Promised to follow Christ and turn away from sin.  Confirmation is the service at which we make those promises for ourselves and declare our own faith in God Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the Bishop with prayer for each confirmation candidate with the words: “Confirm, O Lord, your servant XX with your Holy Spirit.”  This autumn All Hallows and St. Anne’s, Aigburth, have the privilege of hosting a Deanery Confirmation Service at which young people from All Hallows will be confirmed by either Bishop John, Bishop of Liverpool, or Bishop Bev, Bishop of Warrington.  Please do hold each of these young people in prayer. Service dates are: All Hallows 17^th September, St. Anne’s 22^nd October
